The most exciting cricket tournament is going to start in few days. Many hopes and expectations are building up on all the participant teams. Teams are coming from all the directions of India as follows:

South: Deccan Chargers, Chennai Super Kings, Bangalore Royals Challengers

West: Mumbai Indians, Rajasthan Royals

North: Delhi Dare Devils, Kings XI Punjab
I am interested to ascertain astrologically, which direction the winner is coming from. In KP, while analyzing theft, absconding etc, we decide the direction by judging the sub tenanted star lord of the relevant cusp. Applying the same rule now, we will try to locate the direction of the winning team. I myself took a horary number from 1 to 249, the number is 213 on 01-03-2010 at 21.13 hrs, 16.14 N, 80.35 E.
Ascendant will represent the winning team and the sub tenanted star-lord of the ascendant sub-lord will show the direction of the winning team. Here in this case, the Lagna sub-lord is Rahu in 11 in the star of Venus. Venus is in 1. Rahu is a node that completely represents the star-lord in the absence of conjunct planet and the aspecting planet. So Rahu will be very strong to offer the result of Venus.
Venus will indicate South-East direction astrologically. So teams coming from this direction will win this trophy. As there is no team in this direction, we have to consider all the teams coming from South and East. The teams coming from these directions are Deccan Chargers, Chennai Super Kings, Bangalore Royals Challengers and Kolkata Knight Riders.
Incidentally, Sun Dasa Rahu Bhukthi Venus Antharam is running up to 24-04-2010. Dasa lord Sun in Rahu star and Rahu is in Venus star and venus Antharam is running till the last date of the tournament. Out of the eight teams, these four teams have a better chance to win the title.
Above is only an attempt to apply the astrological principles to know the probable direction of winner. It has more of academic interest rather than the craze for the game.
