EVIL EYE: Are You Prone To It?

With this article, I intend to help people who are being victimized of evil eye. They are the ones who already believe that evil eye exists because of the simple reason-they have suffered enough. When doctors cannot help, the symptoms do not have any obvious cause, the diagnosis make us feel that all the money had  gone into the waste-bin, and nothing works out in life consistently, the victim gets a feel that there is something more to it. There are two kinds of “evil eye”:

HEAVY TWELFTH HOUSE:
If there are many planets in the twelfth house of a natal chart then the person is susceptible to such negative influences. The twelfth house covers such subjects like beyond death experiences, ghosts and angels, dreams, intuitions, meditation, hidden enemies, self-undoing, and evil eye. For example a person with sun in twelfth house will be prone to such influences. The sun rules the ‘soul” of the person. With the soul in the twelfth house matters, the person is attuned to invisible forces-both good and bad.

HEAVY EIGHTH HOUSE
Eight house deals with matters related to death and things hidden from the view. It deals with circumstances surrounding one’s death. With planets here, the person is susceptible to evil energies around.

WEAK ASCENDANT
If the ascendant lord is weekly disposed or has negative influences then also the person is prone to evil eye. For example, the ascendant lord is placed in the eighth or twelfth house or Rahu aspecting it.

WEAK SUN
Sun is a very strong planet and gives light to the rest of the planets. If this itself has negative influences like that of Rahu or Saturn then the person is prone to such invisible influences.

You may be taken aback to know that just like some people are prone to evil eye, there are others who have innate “powers” of casting such eye on other people. When the Sun is strong but have negative planetary energies influencing like Rahu or Saturn then the person has an evil eye. If the sixth house lord is in the third house, it strengthens the sixth house lord (because both houses are negative in nature) and thus the person has the ability of casting such an eye even if not intended.

SYMPTOMS OF BEING THE VICTIM OF EVIL EYE:

2) obsessive thoughts which do not feel like being one’s own
3) frequent arguments with close ones
4) constant feeling of depression without any obvious cause
5) abnormal behaviour
6) heaviness of head and eyes
7) general ill-health and frequent illnesses without any major diagnosis

As regards the REMEDIES, Hanuman Chalisa has been considered as a very powerful tool to ward off such evils. It should be recited regularly by the person. Another short-term remedy that is also done by mothers for babies is to rotate 5 puffed sugar balls along with a pair of cloves around the head of the victim seven times and throw it away in a drain immediately. Another known remedy consists of keeping a bundle of spinach on the headside before sleeping on a Tuesday night and then offering it to a cow the next day. This procedure should be done on three Tuesdays.

If you think that you are prone to evil eye or your astrologer has told you the same, its important to do the above remedies from time to time and also to get guidance from higher powers. This can be done by regular meditation. If there are negative energies, there are positive energies to counteract and these must be strengthened by regular prayers and meditations. A person who is prone to evil eye by afflictions to twelfth house has a gift with him of being natural at meditation by which he can fight these energies. However, one has to remain psychologically strong too as the planetary configurations make him sensitive and thus an easy target of negative energies.
