‘Gayatri Mantra’ is an ancient Vedic verse, which encompasses enormous divine powers. It is said to be most effective of all mantras. When chanted properly with faith, it purifies intellect, subdues negativities, provides strength and infuses the ability of gleaning success and prosperity in the devotee. Sage Vishwamitra is known as the seer of this great mantra. Scriptures say about Gayatri Mantra – “gāyantam trāyate sā gāyatrī” i.e. whoever recites this divine verse is saved from all troubles and evils.
