It has been observed that Rahu and Moon are the two planets play pivotal role in sending one to the foreign countries as part of their planetary characteristics. As per Hindu Astrology, Rahu is the planet responsible for all sort of foreign linkages. Moon represents water and indicates travelling by seas or crossing seas through air route now a day. Similarly concentration/placements of planets in moveable, common and watery signs are another important prerequisite. The houses of a horoscope examined are 12, 9, 7, 8, 4 & 3 in ascending order of importance both from Ascendant and Moon as key points. Moon is considered to be an important planet in this regard. Houses 10, 4, 5 & 6 are also read for establishing correlation of different purposes linked to foreign visits. Besides Divisional Horoscopes Hora charts, D-4, D-9 and D-10 are invariably examined. The condition of Amatyakaraka Planet as per Jaimini system also need to be examined and whether Dasa of Moveable/Common/Watery signs are in vogue at the time of going abroad are seen. Persons visiting foreign countries most likely to have Dhan Yoga (planetary combination for wealth) and Raj Yoga (planetary combination for fame and status) in their horoscopes otherwise they would not able to afford the huge expenses of visiting abroad and prospering in an alien country.
