As it has been mentioned, the Shubh Muhurat is one of the most auspicious timings of a day. The Shubh Muhurat 2021 forms the duration or time of Panch Muhurat, which are calculated after carefully considering all the planetary positions and movements, so that they can bring out the best in and to a native's life.
If we take a look at this according to astrology, this basically means the time period which is selected with the help of astrology in accordance with the planetary positions and movements so that we can acquire the desired results in our associated fields. It has also been seen that many people initiate a particular task without paying heed to the necessary and auspicious timings, so as to acquire fast and better results, but it only brings negative results to the forefront. In such a situation, the unfavourable planetary positions are believed to be the reason behind this. Thus, astrologers advise to commemorate any ceremony or ritual in accordance with a Shubh Muhurt. Let us now take a look at the Shubh Muhurat 2021 and how they will turn out to be useful for us.
According to astrology, Shubh Muhurat is an auspicious time frame of the day, during which we can initiate any auspicious activity as the planetary and Nakshatra positions are quite favourable during this time. Because of initiating such an activity during the Shubh muhurat we can remove all the difficulties standing in our path.
According to astrology, any auspicious or holy actions are commemorated by taking a look at the position of all the planets present in the Kundli and all the Doshas as well as Yogas being formed. But in our daily life, there are some such auspicious and inauspicious time frames occurring every day and by keeping track of them we can get done many pious and important activities. We do not even need to go to any astrological expert again and again for the same reason. In simple terms, they are the auspicious time periods of a particular day to get things done.
According to the Hindu Panchang, there are a total of 24 hours in a day, consisting of both the day and night, and if we look at the same 24 hours, 30 Muhurats’ existence can be traced between 6 am and day and night from 5 am to 12 am. A Muhurat of 48 min duration is what comes out in total.
As it has already been said, according to Hindu calendar, there are thirty Muhurats in a single day. Let us now go through the names and timings of all these Muhurats.
The very first Muhurat is the Rudra Muhurat, which starts at 6 am. The second one is Baadar, which arrives exactly forty-eight (48) minutes after the Rudra Muhura. Then comes Ahi, Mitra, Pitru, Vasu, Varaha, Visvadeva, Vidhi, Saptamukhi, Purhuta, Vahini, Naktankara, Varuna, Aryama, Bhag, Girish, Ajpad, Ahir Budhnya, Pushya, Ashwini, Yama, Agni, Vidyutra, respectively Kand, Aditi, Jiva / Amrit, Vishnu, Yumi Aditya, Brahma and Samudram Muhurat, which also lasts for 48-48 minutes.

For the calculation of any Shubh Muhurat, the month, Tithi and Nakshatra are also equally important to calculate when the Panchang calculations take place. As we all know, each and every festival which is a part of Hindu religion and culture is celebrated in accordance with the Vedic Panchang calculations. As the name suggests, Panchang is the culmination of five parts(Angas). That Tithi, Nakshatra, Yoga, karna and all of these play an important role when it comes to the Panchang. Let us now take a look at Muhurat 2021 in accordance with the 5 ‘Angas’ or ‘Panchang’.
Just like the English calendar begins with the first date, the Vedic Panchang also has a first Tithi. The major difference between an English calendar and Vedic Panchang is that the English calendar is counted from midnight till another midnight and time changes when the clock strikes 12. However, this is not the case with the Vedic Panchang as one Tithi begins at sunrise and lasts until another sunrise. Many times a Tithi which doesn’t make it to the sunrise is known as Kshay Tithi. On the contrary, the one which makes it till sunrise is known as Vriddhi Tithi.
A Panchang consists of thirty Tithis during a particular month out of which 15 belong to Krishna Paksha and the remaining 15 belong to Shukla Paksha. In accordance with the same, the last Tithi of Shukla Paksha is Purnima and Krishna Paksha is Amavasya. According to the descriptions about the above mentioned points, the Muhurat 2021 concerning each and every ceremony has been decided. Let us now find out the names of the Tithis of Krishna Paksha and Shukla Paksha.
Names of Tithis:-
Note : The Hindu religion and culture finds the mention of many rites and rituals which should not be initiated during some special Tithis. For instance, it is considered quite inauspicious to conduct a homecoming ceremony during Amavasya and Purnima.
Var is also known as day. According to the Panchang, there are seven days in a particular week. They are Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. All of these days have their own significance which only determines the Shubh Muhurat.
Note: Like some special dates, there are many such times / days during which performing any religious ritual is considered inauspicious. For example, doing many things on Tuesday is forbidden. This is the reason that the time / day is also taken care of while calculating any auspicious time.
